    PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

    Sandra Heymann is regarded as a thought leader known for her transformational approach to Human Capital. A trusted advisor on Human Capital strategy and talent issues for businesses across many sectors, Sandy’s strategic approach combined with global business expertise, empowers companies to successfully implement on-target solutions.

    For more than 20 years, Sandy developed a reputation as a change agent working across both HR and commercial roles. Notably, Sandy was the VP HR for Janssen Inc., a Canadian pharmaceutical company that is a part of the Johnson and Johnson family of companies.

    Sandy looks at issues through a lens of practical business understanding providing clients with the ability to navigate and transform their approach to Human Capital and Talent.

    Sandy has post-graduate degrees in Human Resources Management and Public Relations and is a graduate from the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management and holds an Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) designation.

  • Ilana Segal

    PARTNER ASSOCIATE

    Ilana Segal specialises in the fields of Change Management, Organizational Transformation and Leadership Coaching. Ilana has consulted to many types of companies (large such as pension plans and government to entrepreneurial owner managed) in Canada and South Africa. Ilana enjoys guiding executives, leaders and managers though organizational, behavioural and personal change.

    Her expertise and experience include: a deep understanding of organizational culture, the ability to work with merging organizations towards successful integration, conducting in- depth organizational reviews, working with diagnostics/analysis and generally providing change management guidance to support transformational and sustainable change.

    Ilana is a certified Executive, Leadership and Career Coach (PCC level) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a Master Coach through OISE (University of Toronto). She is certified in a number of diagnostic tools such as TILT Leadership, Myers Briggs, and has worked with different Culture tools.

    Ilana’s style is calm, curious, client focussed and practical. Ilana coaches in Diversity (EDI), in the LGBTQ2S community and values each person’s unique strengths and talents and ways of being in the world.

  • Michael Herr

    CFO CONSULTANT

    As an experienced CFO, Michael Herr is a Charted Accountant with over 20 years of practical, hands-on business finance experience in several countries and industries. Michael has worked as the CFO for several companies ranging in size and complexity. More recently, as a fractional CFO, Michael has primarily been focused in the start-up to SME space.

    Michael is well regarded by his clients for his direct, honest and straight talk that enable the right financial, business and planning decisions to be made. Michael is commercially minded and is motivated by improving the bottom line through a focus on system efficiencies and business performance.

How we work

Our engagements vary, based on the nature and scope of the work. Here are a few constructs that we have found work well:

Ad-hoc as you need our services

Just call if you have a question or an issue.
You only pay for the time you use.

On Retainer

We allocate an agree-on number of hours or days per week/month. In this way, you receive more regular support. This can be for fractional (part-time) dedicated support, which can be on a long-term or an interim basis.

By Project

For our projects, we typically provide a fee range based on the scope of work. Projects may have a fixed fee or a be managed on an hourly basis.
